Our new Moulton Gardening Group volunteers are already making a big impact in the grounds of The Hall. Initial work has included clearing overgrown vegetation and revealing the area around the stone pergola overlooking the lower lawn. For the first time in many years the pergola is visible from the driveway and ‘new’ views are being opened up. The Gardening group will be working on general maintenance tasks as well as on special garden projects such as reinstating the Dutch Garden. The Garden Volunteers meet weekly on a Wednesday morning 10am – 1pm.

This week is National Volunteers Week - if you are interested in joining our ‘Green Shapes and Gravel’ Gardening Group, please contact us or email us.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us with tours and stewarding:

  • House & Grounds Tour Volunteering - Learning more about the Hall’s history to deliver and support guided tours around the House and Grounds with our visitors.

  • Event Volunteering - Welcoming visitors and checking visitor tickets, answering visitor queries, general stewarding, helping provide refreshments.

If you’d like to help us, please get in touch.
