The Trustees of the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust are delighted to announce the appointment of Carol Hunt as our new Project Development Manager.
Carol will start at the end of April and lead on delivering a programme of events to provide visitors with the opportunity to experience the unique magic of The Hall. She will also work with the Trustees in directing a sustainable model for the future of The Hall and its grounds.
Steve Missen, Chair of the Trustees said ‘this is an exciting time for The Hall after several years hard work; we are now in a position to start to deliver our vision for the future of this special place. We are delighted that Carol has decided to join us at this exciting time. We feel that The Hall should become centre stage and celebrate the towns industrial past, something that we can all be proud of’.
Carol has previously worked for the British Museum, the Holbourne Museum and a number of national charities following a successful career as a management consultant. She has a broad range of experience of engaging visitors and supporters, fundraising and delivering successful projects. Carol is passionate about history, art and design, and studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art & Design in London.
On accepting the appointment Carol commented: "I am delighted to join the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust at this exciting time to deliver a new programme of events to welcome visitors to The Hall Estate and to explore its fascinating history and the inspirational stories of the people who have lived and worked here. I look forward to working with the Trustees and the local community to build a sustainable future for The Hall Estate and celebrate its legacy and contribution to the local community.”
Carol's appointment comes following a period of review undertaken with independent consultants and architects during 2016-2018, and a series of test events run in 2018 (including guided tours and WWI centenary events) that proved very popular with visitors.
The Trust will be announcing further details of the event programme for 2019 in due course. Please contact us for further details.
