We are delighted to be opening up the grounds of The Hall to visitors this Summer season - come and take a turn around the estate grounds, see the magnificent Jacobean Hall up close, and explore some of the estate’s fascinating history.

The Coffee Girl will be joining us serving delicious coffee, teas and light snacks, so come and enjoy a drink and a stroll in the beautiful grounds of The Hall, just a stones throw from the centre of Bradford-on-Avon.

Ticket prices for this event are:

  • £4 per adult

  • £2 per child (children’s tickets available to buy on the day only).

  • An optional children’s discovery trail is available for an additional £1 per child (pay on the day).

Tickets are available on the day (pay at the gate, cash preferred if possible) and in advance using the link below:

Please note:

The Hall Grounds are Grade II and II* listed and there are areas of uneven paving and lawn as you would expect from an historic estate.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be used for charitable purposes only.

Will The Hall itself be open during the Open Grounds Afternoon?

The Hall will not be open during the Open Grounds afternoon, but we will have information available on the day about other events which you can also find online here.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The open afternoon is designed for all. An optional children’s trail is available for £1 per child. The trail explores features of The Hall, Dr Alex Moulton and his cat Toby, the classic Mini car and Moulton Bicycle, with a Toby the cat sticker reward at the end!

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome at The Hall Open Afternoon, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times due to the wildlife in the Grounds. Bins will be available onsite for any waste bags.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is very limited at The Hall.  For disabled parking, please contact us to book a place.

Entrance to The Hall is via the main gate on Holt Road (guarded by two stone eagles) - near the Woolley Street junction (for pedestrians, bicycles and booked parking only)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please!

What happens if the event is rescheduled?
