MOULTON AND THE HALL : THE GREAT WAR

We are grateful for the interest and support from those who have attended our events to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War. We’ve had a busy week - there have been eight guided tours of The Hall (80 visitors), we have hosted Year 6 from ChristChurch School in Bradford on Avon and there was a (very) full house on Wednesday 7th for Dan Farrell’s talk on The Hall during the First World War and the letters of Eric Moulton. All visitors have received a copy of our booklet ‘Moulton and The Hall : The Great War’ and this is now available to view online here. The creation of this booklet has been aided by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

We were visited by BBC Wiltshire and featured in their Remembrance Sunday Special, with some recordings from inside The Hall. You can listen to the programme here (available until December 11th 2018).

Our original First World War page is here.
