Volunteer With The Hall

The Alex Moulton Charitable Trust is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining The Hall and its surrounding historic grounds. We welcome passionate and committed individuals eager to make a positive impact within the local community and beyond.

We cannot do our work without the amazing support we get from our hard-working volunteers who offer their time and expertise in promoting and preserving the estate.

The Alex Moulton Charitable Trust has a range of opportunities for volunteers, who play a vital role in helping us look after the estate, deliver our charitable objectives and lead our popular guided tours.

No experience needed—just a passion for heritage and creativity!

Our Roles

  • Grounds Maintenance

Join our garden team and become a Grounds Maintenance volunteer and help us maintain the historic grounds of The Hall estate. Your time and effort will ensure the grounds are looking their best in all seasons for our guests and visitors.

  • House Tour Guide

Our House Tour Guides are vital in bringing The Hall to life, welcoming our visitors and imparting their knowledge of the history of the house. Volunteers should be well-versed in the history of The Hall and be able to engage an audience.

  • Curation & Crafting

Join our Curation & Crafting Team to assist with caring for treasured items within the house—through curation, clearing, and creative projects. Volunteers will also help craft handmade items inspired by The Hall for our in-house shop.
