First unveiled in November 1962 at the Earls Court Cycle Show in London, the original Moulton bicycle marked the beginning of a design revolution.

Now, in 2026, the 62/26 Cycle Challenge invites cyclists from around the world to take part in a global week of riding, celebrating a legacy of innovation, engineering, and design.

Join riders across the globe for this unique sponsored cycling event, raising vital funds for The Hall Estate in Bradford on Avon, the magnificent Grade I listed home of Dr Alex Moulton, designer, engineer, and inventor of the iconic Moulton bicycle.

Taking place between 17 August and 23 August 2026, the challenge invites participants to ride anywhere in the world, on any bike, and over a distance of their choice, with 62 miles as the symbolic target, while raising sponsorship in support of The Alex Moulton Charitable Trust.
