About the Artist
Melissa Wishart is an award winning oil painter. She exhibits with the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and other selected shows such as the Bath Society of Artists at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath.
She generally has a solo show each year in Bradford on Avon.
Since 2012, art residencies have included Bermuda, Costa Rica and Tuscany and of course The Hall and her paintings can be found in the private collections of a governor, an earl, a member of parliament and several patrons from all walks of life who respond to the paintings.

The tapestry room, also known as the ‘Ladies Room’, was once the ‘Great Parlour’. After dinner downstairs, the ladies would move upstairs to this room whilst the gentlemen proceeded to the smoking parlour.
