Welcome to The Hall

It is with great pleasure that we extend a heartfelt welcome to you at The Hall.

Nestled in the heart of the charming town of Bradford on Avon, The Hall is more than a wonderful place to stay; it is a haven of history, heritage and fascinating stories. We invite you to be enveloped in timeless luxury and absorb the fascinating stories our 17th-century mansion whispers.

Please note that we are not a conventional hotel.

Instead, we provide a unique opportunity to experience a stay within a national heritage treasure and a historic Grade I-listed Jacobean mansion of significant importance. On behalf of everyone at The Hall, we wish to express our gratitude that you chose to experience your stay in Bradford on Avon with us.

House Rules

  • SELF-CONTAINED ROOM

Your room is self-contained. Access to the rest of the building will be restricted during your stay. However, you will have complete access to the entirety of the grounds during your stay. Please feel free to explore at your leisure or enjoy a picnic on our seven acres of landscaped grounds.

  • SLIPPERS

Each room has been lovingly restored, including new carpets for your comfort so we ask that shoes be removed while you are in the room. Slippers are also provided to ensure comfort during your stay.

  • TAKEAWAYS

While takeaways are allowed in the building, no deliveries are to be delivered after 10pm. Any deliveries should be met at the front door promptly by yourself. We ask this as late night deliveries and door bell ringing causes disturbance to other guests staying in the house.

  • FIRE PROTOCOL

In the rare case of a fire, upon hearing alarm, please exit via the main front door or your quickest alternative route – this may be via a window. The fire meeting point is located under the archway at the stable block. Each room is equipped with a basic first aid box for any non-emergency medical issues.

  • BATHROBE

For your comfort, a bathrobe has been supplied to each guest. Should you desire your robe, you can purchase our luxury robes online.
