Shop Duchess of Kingston Mask

Duchess of Kingston Mask

from £22.00

Notorious for her topless masquerade costumes, Elizabeth Chudleigh would commit perjury by beginning an improper liaison with the second Duke of Kingston Evelyn Pierrepont. This unique creation based on the Duchess of Kingston can be used as a mask or displayed as wall-art.

About the artist

Valerie Jukes first discovered needle-felting, the art of stabbing wool repeatedly with a barbed needle to sculpt it into shape, only a couple of years ago but became rapidly addicted to the process of transformation. The beauty and flexibility of wool never ceases to amaze Valerie and the textile artist from Bradford on Avon continues to create masks and wall art to this day.
