The Hall Diorama (Eric Room)

The namesake of the Eric room, Charles ‘Eric’ Moulton was the second son of John and Alice Blanche Moulton. Eric was commonly known amongst close family members and friends as a serving second lieutenant and member of the 6th Wiltshire Regiment. Following the declaration of war in 1914 between the Allied Powers and the Central Powers, Eric would be deployed to Northern France.

On the evening of 16th September 1915, the twenty-six-year-old was shot and fatally wounded.
